Ken Follett: World Without End
Like this sequel to Pillars of the Earth. (*****)
Mark Haddon: A Spot of Bother (Vintage)
weird but intriguing (***)
Tom Standage: A History of the World in 6 Glasses
Fun. Erin had to read it last year for school and was lying around during a book purchase lull. (***)
Dan Roam: The Back of the Napkin: Solving Problems and Selling Ideas with Pictures
Idea of simplifying down to back of napkin useful, although a whole book? I still think you need to be able to draw! (and I can't) (****)
Kevin Freiberg: Boom!: 7 Choices for Blowing the Doors Off Business-As-Usual
Read it for AIIM board meeting. Mostly Yuck. (**)
Craig Stull: Tuned In: Uncover the Extraordinary Opportunities That Lead to Business Breakthroughs
Not bad. Read it for an AIIM board meeting (***)
Malcolm Gladwell: Outliers: The Story of Success
Always find something interesting in Gladwell books. Liked esp Hockey and school age examples (****)
William P. Young: The Shack
Not sure what I think yet. Still pondering. Writing style reminds me a bit of the Mitch Albom books. (***)
Bernhard Schlink: The Reader (Movie Tie-in Edition) (Vintage International)
Minimalist kind of writing; story just flies by. (***)
Malachy McCourt: Malachy McCourt's History of Ireland
I know, with a name like Mancini why this book? My grandmother's maiden name was McEvoy from a little town called Clonaslee about 80 km from Dublin. (****)
Nice way to deliver the message about effectively managing email as business records. BTW, I have been using SlideShare for a few months. It is really nice for sharing slides.
I am looking forward to the next part in the series.
